Broadway Bound Children's Theatre is pleased to present our Fall 2019 production of Aladdin, Jr! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.

Meet our Team:
Megan Kay Wright - Director & Choreographer
Megan Kay Wright is ecstatic to be making their directing debut at Broadway Bound. Previously working with BBCT as a summer camp instructor and stage manager for Fiddler on the Roof 2018-19, Megan has lots of experience working with actors of all ages. Their most recent acting credits include playing Poins in Henry the IV Part 2 by William Shakespeare with Greenstage, as well as Touch Stone at Cornish College of the Arts' production of As You Like It. They are finishing up their last year at Cornish majoring in Theater Acting and plans to stay working as an artist in the Seattle Area.
Caitlin Nuckolls - Musical Director
Caitlin Nuckolls is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music where she studied classical voice and opera with dramatic soprano Jane Eaglen. During her time in Boston, she was music director for the Southeastern Technical Institute, directing Aladdin the Musical, The Addams Family, and many galas. She has sung across the country as well as in Europe, in places such as LA, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Italy, and Austria. In addition to performing, Caitlin has worked as an assistant choir director and private voice teacher for a number of years. She has returned to Seattle to continue her private studies, perform with the Puget Sound Concert Opera, and teach private lessons. As a first timer with Broadway Bound, she is delighted to be a part of the community and hopes to serve its goals of inspiring and teaching young artists.
