Summer Camp:

This intensive will focus on themes involving the struggles of an assorted group of teens starting the new school year. This is a 3 week intensive Mondays-Fridays 9am-4pm for students 10-14. It culminates with a review featuring music from Dear Evan Hansen,  Fun Home, Heathers, Jekyll and Hyde, Mean Girls, Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Six and, Spring Awakening. Students will rehearse triple threat skills while taking on theater responsibilities such as costuming, scenic, lighting, and sound design during their time at Magnuson Park Theater. 

This intensive also provides students the opportunity to earn volunteer hours working with our Summer Spotlight during their performances, and create portfolio moments for future applications and scholarships for college and beyond.

While we are using material we acknowledge students are passionate about, we hope to recontextualize material in our workshops to be age appropriate, and peer approved.

Dates & Hours:

July 31 - August 18, 2023
Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Performance on August 18th at Magnuson Park Theatre at 7:30 PM

Cost:

$1250 total ($1100 tuition,  $100 studio fees and a $50 audition fee)
Due at Registration: $100 studio fees + $50 audition fee + $300 tuition = $450
Due by June 30th: $400 tuition (email invoice to be sent in June)
Due by July 31st: $400 tuition (email invoice to be sent in July)
