Beginner Drawing In Person Workshop
Ages: 11-18
Schedule: Tuesday : 9:00-10:30 AM
Starting July 21, Ending August 25
Materials:
All Students – 18×24 Newsprint pad (any surface texture,) compressed charcoal (choose at least one of the following: 2B, 4B, or 6B, or an assorted pack) kneaded eraser, graphite pencil (anywhere between 2B and HB), pencil sharpener, pen, one of the following sharpening options for the charcoal: sandpaper block or box, and clothing/smock that can be dirtied while drawing.
Students attending in-person – face covering able to be worn for the full session. If a face covering is not with the student, they will be provided with a disposable one while they are on campus.
Optional for online and in-person – drawing clipboard (highly recommended, larger than 18×24,) easel, charcoal pencils, white charcoal, compressed pastel chalk in various colors, 18×24 drawing paper
If a student does not have access to materials and would like to attend the class, please email Broadway Bound at office@broadwaybound.org and let us know what you need. We will make every effort to provide materials to families who would otherwise not be able to attend.
Restrictions: 4 Students In Person Maximum
Price: Broadway Bound continues to offer classes, camps, and workshops for all families interested in participating in theatre and learning theatre skills. Broadway Bound is facing financial hardship as an arts nonprofit at a time where we cannot safely assemble. We ask all families to consider giving at the level of their ability and we thank you for your continued support.
