More Information about Summer Camps
Are you between 12 and 18?
Looking for something to do this Summer?
Need to get your volunteers hours for School?
We have a great opportunity for you! Join us this summer as a Counselor in Training (or CIT) to assist with Broadway Bound Summer Camps!
Becoming a CIT is a fabulous opportunity to get volunteer hours needed for school, while helping inspire & motivate the next generation of actors and actresses! CITs are responsible for helping the Summer Camp Instructors with preparing their campers for their performance on Fridays, in areas such as dance, music and directing. They also help instructors with theatre games, and other projects during camp.
CITs are also able to participate in our Professional Actor Training classes. These classes are taught by industry professionals, and take place immediately after camps, from 3:30-6pm, and focus on voice, dance and acting. It’s really a great way for the kids to hone their skills and learn new techniques!
If you think this is something you would be interested in, or know of anyone who would like to participate in this great program, please have them fill out our CIT application, and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
CITs are required to attend a mandatory training session, June 12th & 13th from 4:30-6:30 pm at our Broadway Bound studios.
